WHY IS LUKE THE WAY HE IS?

Some students are organised. Some are chaotic.And then there’s Luke — a walking mixtape of ideas, energy, and distractions.

If Faith is the quiet storm, Luke is the lightning bolt that hits the Wi-Fi router.

From the moment he walked into my class — wearing a hat, smiling to himself, and swinging his head — I knew: this one would be a journey. Luke has ADHD. He’ll tell you that himself if you ask "what's wrong with him", But it’s not just a diagnosis. It’s his tempo. His brain runs at a BPM only a DJ could understand. One moment, he’s suggesting a brilliant idea for the project, the next moment he is up in his head doing whatever impulsive thought comes to his mind in the moment.

And yet… There’s something about Luke. When he’s on, he’s on. His creativity is untamed but genuine. His enthusiasm is infectious. His ideas? Sometimes chaotic, sometimes confusing — but occasionally, good.

The truth about Luke is this:

He’s not your typical student. He’s a human brainstorm. A melody in the middle of a thesis. And while I’d never say it to his face, the project and this class is better with him in it.
